A regular reader – there must be one somewhere! – will know that I very rarely reblog someone else’s post, and that there has to be a special reason for me to do so. There are two reasons for this one. Firstly, Gem is a very good ‘virtual’ friend who has been supportive of my blog, and I like to show my support for hers too. Secondly, this is a subject that I considered as one of my ‘Dates To Note’ but I have been trying to reduce the frequency of these, and this lost a very difficult decision to my main theme of mental health. I saw a good friend at work suffer this for three years until it finally took her life – still in her thirties, leaving two young children.
So thank you Gem for raising awareness of such an important cause.
