The 2019 Christmas Charity Appeal – Help Me Raise £250 For Battersea Dogs & Cats Home By Leaving Me Links To Your Blogs and Books

I supported Hugh’s Christmas charity appeal last year so it seems only right that I do so again! Do visit his blog: I can recommend it. Good luck, Hugh, I hope the appeal is a huge success 😊

The Christmas tree is up, but something is missing. There are no gifts under it, and I need your help to put that right.

For this year’s Christmas charity appeal, I’m asking you to help me raise some money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Since 1860, Battersea has been there for every dog and cat that finds themselves homeless. From the moment they welcomed their first stray dog, they have been placing animals at the centre of everything they do.

More than three million animals later, they’re still working hard to achieve the vision that every dog and cat should live in a home where they are treated with love, care and respect.

They believe that every dog and cat deserves the best. That’s why Battersea Dogs and Cats home have always helped every dog and cat in need.

2018 Christmas Charity Appeal – Help Me Raise £250 For The Dogs Trust By Leaving Me Links To Your Blogs And Books

As you’re probably aware, I very rarely reblog others as I’ve got into the mindset of believing that I should just be focusing on my own writing here. But, very occasionally, something comes along that I feel just has to be shared. This is a lovely idea, and Hugh is a great guy, so I hope you’ll support him in his charitable endeavours. And who knows, you may even find some new blogs to read through this – including Hugh’s of course, which I can highly recommend!

Secrets and Lies (Abridged Version) by FC Fiancee

One of my rare reblogs which, if you’ve been following a while, you’ll know I reserve for very special posts. I have reblogged my friends before, as I believe very strongly that the Parental Abuse being carried out by FC’s ex-wife is poisonous and destructive. She has set their daughter against her Dad with wicked lies and is destroying the poor girl’s life in the process.

This post is written by FC’s fiancée, and shows just how far the abuser will go to maintain her pretence. I hope you can find a few moments to read this and understand what goes on in such circumstances – unfortunately these situations are much less rare than you might think.
